The ceiling and wall panels create a dynamic look while addressing acoustic concerns and accessibility.

Meeting room with white curved ceiling

Clean and modern design achieved with concave and flat Nuvola® acoustical clouds. Concave clouds are suspended in the center to create a soft curve and flat rectangular-shaped clouds are installed around the perimeter to fill out the ceiling inside this meeting room. Nuvola® attains excellent noise reduction levels even though the plenum is only partially covered.

Claro built auditorium.

Curved convex and concave Nuvola® clouds deliver great acoustical performance inside Carroll County Public Safety Training Center. Clouds absorb noise and ensure clear speech is carried from the podium to the listener’s ear all the way at the back of the lecture hall. Panels only partially cover the ceiling to visually create a wave effect. Installation was quick and easy using an adjustable hook and wire cable suspension.

Decoustics Combines Products to Optimize Acoustics and Beauty at Middle Tennessee State University. For a new 840-seat ballroom at the Middle Tennessee State University student union in Murfreesboro, Tenn., the architect specified a ceiling consisting of large, two-tones arched rectangular panels in a variety of sizes. To create the custom panels, Decoustics merged two products – Claro, a fiberglass acoustical panel with a smooth white surface with Quadrillo, a cut-out wood acoustic panel serving as a border around the fiberglass. To achieve the challenging arc pattern, Decoustics constructed a physical mock-up of the design to ensure the grid and panels followed the exact radius, and worked closely with ceilings contractor for installation.
