Innovative acoustical solution that neutralizes pollutants and improves the quality of life.

AirRenew fabric technology uses a catalytic process to transform pollutants, such as nicotine and formaldehyde, as well as other numerous odors into harmless, natural substances.  As soon as pollutant or odor molecules come into contact with Air Renew fabric, a chemical reaction takes place and they are broken down and rendered harmless. Air Renew Fabric works in the same way as a catalytic converter in a car.

The most common causes for air full of pollutants and unpleasant odors are Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) such as formaldehyde and ammonia. For instance, formaldehyde is contained in wooden furniture, glues, insulation materials, laminate flooring and carpets, hence it can be found in all living and working environments. Formaldehyde is considered to be harmful even at 0.05 ppm, and can cause headaches, sickness or eye irritations and even provoke inflammation of the mucous membranes and respiratory disease or cancer. The most common disturbances in terms of smells are kitchen fumes, pet smells and cigarette smoke. The odor causing this is predominantly ammonia, which in high concentrations causes similar adverse health effects as formaldehyde.

AirRenew has been tested and scientifically proven to convert harmful VOCs into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor, which evaporate into air. Furthermore, it provides protection against growth and transmission of the bacteria that comes into contact with the panel and prevents nosocomial germs from spreading.

Whether it is an office or hotel, a clinic, school, nursing home or retirement home – or indeed in any living environment: Air Renew Fabric creates a pleasant room atmosphere and guarantees fresher air and a healthier living, working and residential environment.
