Claro Ceilencio custom acoustical panels with built-up returns are seen throughout the newly renovated Terminal 3 of the Pearson International Airport in Toronto, ON. The 4″ and 3″ curved built-up returns visually add depth to the ceiling and conceal the suspension. The panels brighten up the space by reflecting light, have high noise absorption properties and eliminate echoing delivering a pleasant and stress-free environment inside the airport. In addition, both products attain Class A fire rating, making them a safe and reliable choice for all applications.
The walls of this Dyson flagship store inside prestigious Yorkdale Mall in Toronto, ON are outfitted with 2″ thick Decoustics acoustical panels finished in black Camira Sprint Chase PS004 fabric. Beautifully complementing the contemporary decor, the panels also deliver excellent acoustical performance and are fire rated Class A, making them a reliable choice for all public space applications.

The Globe and Mail Center located downtown Toronto is great example to demonstrate how our wide range of acoustical products integrate together to fulfill various design and performance objectives. The entire ceiling of the expansive event hall on the 17th floor of the building is outfitted with Decoustics’ Claro and Solo-M wood panels finished in American white oak. Both products have excellent sound absorption properties and ensure pleasant acoustics inside the room when the events reach full capacity.
Claro Standard White finish has additional benefits as it reflects over 90% of light. At daytime the space is filled with natural sunlight and at night the atmosphere and mood changes as the different colored lights, patterns and images that are projected onto the ceiling.
Claro and Solo Type 8 panels are suspended on fully accessible Ceilencio suspension system, which allows for easy access to the plenum for maintenance and repairs. Edges are finished with knife-edge trim. In addition, Ceilencio accommodates various light fixtures and panels lifts, which expand in and out of the ceiling.
Decoustics’ Dowel Grille products give a different look and feel to the hallway, reception area and office spaces throughout the building. To add depth and hide the suspension, the Dowel Grille is finished with upturn grille blades.

LightFrame acoustical panels provide even illumination and great acoustical performance inside the hand-off area of the Audi dealership in midtown Toronto, ON. LightFrame is constructed with translucent, acoustically perforated fabric that diffuses light delivering uniform illumination and presenting the vehicles in their “best light” to their new owners. Additionally, the perforations ensure that noises inside the room are absorbed by the panels which eliminates echoing and makes for a pleasant hand-off experience.
To add warmth and a dynamic finishing effect to an otherwise standard classroom set-up, Solo planks were installed in a sawtooth pattern throughout Sheridan College’s classrooms and lecture halls. Solo planks are finished in custom stained white oak wood veneer and uniquely perforated and grooved for high acoustical performance. Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of approx. 0.9 ensures that lingering noises are absorbed and greatly reduced, delivering crisp sounds of the lecture to the students’ ears.
Direct mounted on the wall using z-clips, Rondolo™ micro-perforated panels complete the overall natural look and add warmth to this cozy dining space. Finished in 5 different wood species: Maple, White Oak, Beech, Cherry and Walnut, the micro-perforated panels are manufactured from no-added Urea Formaldehyde (NAUF) building materials. Micro perforations are a nominal 0.50mm and virtually disappear at a distance, giving the appearance of a monolithic wood wall installation while providing excellent acoustical performance.
